Identical start and end
If both endpoints are included, that single date is counted once. If either endpoint is excluded, the range is empty: 0 total, 0 weekdays, 0 weekends. A weekday contributes one business day; a weekend contributes zero. Weekday and weekend counts always add up to the total included dates.
If start is after end, correct the range or use Swap Dates. The counter will not silently flip the inputs.
